Job Summary:
As a Safety Officer / Property Custodian at Toyota Zamboanga, you will ensure the safety and security of the dealership’s premises, personnel, and assets. Your qualifications include a degree in Engineering or a related field, computer literacy with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, good communication skills (both oral and written), and an advantage if you have completed BOSH training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards and risks.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the dealership’s property, facilities, and equipment.
- Develop and implement strategies for property preservation and security.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and protocols, including fire drills and evacuation procedures.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and agencies in case of emergencies or incidents.
- Conduct safety training sessions and workshops for dealership personnel to promote awareness and best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of safety incidents and follow-up actions.
- Implement security measures to protect dealership assets, including inventory, vehicles, and equipment.
- Coordinate with security personnel or service providers to monitor and safeguard the premises.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
- Prepare regular reports on safety performance, compliance, and improvement initiatives.
