POLLUTION CONTROL OFFICER

- Graduate of Environmental Engineering or a related Environmental course.
- Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledgeable about the responsibilities of a Pollution Control Officer.
Job Summary:
As a Pollution Control Officer at Toyota Zamboanga, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and implementing pollution control measures within the dealership premises. Your qualifications include being a graduate of Environmental Engineering or a related Environmental course, computer literacy with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and possessing knowledge of the responsibilities associated with the role of a Pollution Control Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and permits applicable to the dealership’s operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential environmental risks and non-compliance issues.
- Develop and implement pollution control measures and best practices to minimize environmental impact and ensure sustainable operations.
- Recommend and oversee the implementation of pollution prevention and waste management initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of environmental monitoring data, permits, inspections, and corrective actions taken.
- Prepare and submit timely reports to regulatory agencies as required by law.
- Provide training and awareness programs to dealership staff on environmental regulations, pollution control practices, and waste management procedures.
- Promote a culture of environmental responsibility and compliance throughout the organization.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for environmental incidents, such as spills, leaks, or hazardous material releases.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and stakeholders to mitigate environmental risks during emergencies.
- Engage with local communities, environmental organizations, and government agencies to foster positive relationships and address environmental concerns.
- Participate in community outreach programs and initiatives to promote environmental stewardship.
